Keith joined Shaffer Capital in August 2010 assuming the roles of Financial Paraplanner and Client Service Associate. Prior to joining Shaffer Capital, he worked with Matt Shaffer at Smith Barney from May 2004 to July 2007.

In his role as a Financial Paraplanner, Keith assists in the collection and data entry of necessary information during the financial planning process. As a Client Service Associate, he provides operational assistance in the areas of account paperwork, money movement & cashiering, and maintaining client records. Keith holds the Series 7 securities license.

Keith is a 2006 graduate of the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University with degrees in Marketing and Transportation & Logistics. Originally from Niles, Ohio, Keith has lived in Westerville since 1989. His interests include music as well as playing golf, softball, and ice hockey.

Joanna joined Shaffer Capital in March 2010, after several years being at home with her children. Prior to having a family, Joanna was an Account Executive at The Columbus Dispatch in the Retail Advertising Department.

In addition to being one of Matt's long-time clients, Joanna brings vast experience in both marketing and public affairs. She has held a variety of positions in both Ohio and Michigan including Account Executive, Public Affairs Coordinator, and Advertising Sales Manager.

Joanna holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business Management from Kent State University. An Akron native, Joanna has been living in Westerville since 1996. She and her husband, Chris, have 3 daughters and are members of the Church of the Resurrection. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising, bicycling, and reading.
